UPDATE: 1/8/2012 Removed Duke Nukem Forever and added Civ 5

The only requirement is that you've purchased a recent PC game from Amazon and received the $5.00 off best selling games of 2011. You should have received an email with the promo code. The codes are good until 1/31/12.

Civ 5 $8.99 - $5.00 Promo Code = $3.99

Civ 5 is a Steamworks game, so it activates via Steam. Go under "Software and Games" in your account to see the Steam key (no need to download anything through Amazon).

Tried the demo and the graphics were totally glitched on my system. But judging from the gameplay, I think I'd get pretty bored with it.

On a brighter note, Deus Ex is $11 with code...perhaps a better deal than DNF for $1???
 
Thanks, I'm finally buying into Duke and it's only costing me 99 cents. I picked up my promo code after buying Saints Row 2 for only 2.49 a couple weeks ago. Good deals were had this holiday season.
 
Bought it for 24.99 awhile back and finished it - didn't regret it...

There are parts of the game that really work well, but there's far too much filler to make this game re-playable...

Looks like Amazon is catching on. It's now a ridiculous $15 before coupon.

Go for a good game like Deus ex ($17) or The Witcher ($10)/Witcher 2 ($20) instead.

Be forewarned - Amazon will probably raise prices on any games that really start to sell.
