civ 4

NNoooooooo!!! Just when I got my life back!!! I almost flunked out of college because of my addiction to the original Civ. Civ2 and Civ3 wreaked similar havoc to my marriage and parenting....I might have to ponder a new upgrade...
 
How do nice visuals on leaders heads make the game any better?

And I was civ'd out after civ1+civ2. I played civ3 like once, and i doubt I'll touch 4.
 
Yep, my copy's pre-ordered from Amazon.com. At least that way, I'll have a good four or five days after release to not flunk out of grad school.

After that, though, there are no guarantees.

if I find it a significant improvement over the last civ game I bought (II & III) then it's worth my money

if it's just a rehash with fancier graphics then 'uninstall' it goes

BTW, that's not a change. The release date has been 10/25/05 ever since a specific date was set.
 
I loved Civ.... then Civ II came along and I found the perfect game. CivIII was good, but not as good as Civ II (looked better though). Civ IV.... 😀 I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
