Smooth as butter.

2Ghz P-M
2GB ram
6800Go Ultra

Did you patch it? The patch makes quite a difference.

Yes I did patch it to 1.52. It still runs like crap. I'm running all extra low settings too. on 1028/786... I'm getting the feeling that theres something wrong????

Maybe. I run at 1920x1200... i get some hiccups on a Huge map near the end of the game, but that's more due to the computer processing moves.

I have only 512 MB ram. It starts sucking towards the industrial age, even on a standard map.

Before 1.52 it used to close on me in the 1800's (Huge, 1280x1024, 4xAA) but now it lets me finish crushing the French.

Mine handles it great! Of course, mine has absolutely no lag in WoW or any other game for that matter as long as my ping and latency are low. I have the retail edge package with an ATI X800XL PCIE card, and that helps a lot. As for the game, it's a ton of fun! Haven't run into any problems yet on my desktop.

I have installed the game on my laptops so I can take them with me to work and on trips. My business laptop runs the game, but it can get choppy when moving around on the map. My personal laptop runs it just fine, but it also has a gig more memory than the business laptop. I would say that makes a big difference.
