Confirmed on the 11/14. Also, they said they'd ship it out on the same day, so 2-day air should be in by Wednesday, 11/16.

Hopefully it's the collector's edition and not the normal one, but @ $44 still a great deal!

It'll be nice if they ship out same-day, but I'm not so worried about that. However, I will have to stab someone if they try to stick me with a standard edition.

mine is still backordered. i guess that people are continually trying and outpost can't meet the demand.

Presumably their plan is still to fulfill the orders made by a certain date, but they've taken it down to stop anyone else from getting their hopes up.

And like I said before, if they shaft me with a standard edition, someone's getting knifed.

I wouldn't even bother to buy it. I purchased it the day it was released for $50. It has been 100% unplayable since that time, due to bugs that a large percentage of people have run into. The company hasn't had *any* communication with the community. They have not acknowledged any of the issues and have not announced that they are even working on a patch.

People with bugs tend to think that it's universal...people without the bugs don't speak up since they're playing the game...

Rock stable, never had a problem with any of the HL games/mods, UT2004, FEAR, DOOM 3, etc. If you check any of the Civ forums out there, you will quickly notice that there are LOTS of people with major problems. It certainly isn't everyone, but there are a lot of us.
