"Please list any and all, current personal or business websites, web pages or memberships on any Internet-based chat rooms, social clubs or forums, to include, but not limited to: Facebook, Google, Yahoo, YouTube.com, MySpace, etc.," the City form states. There are then three lines where applicants can list the Web sites, their user names and log-in information and their passwords.

The correct response is "I don't get on websites". I check the news at MSN.com, and that's it ;^)

It's really just a ploy to get free porn for currently-employed city workers.

Should bomb the city with bogus job applications and just write "Go fuck yourself." in that field.

The hell are they getting any of my accounts. My girlfriend doesnt get my account info, what would make me want to give some random group of city workers my info so they could look into my stuff.

We need to be realistic here. It is our employers right to invade our private lives. Err...what?

The only time I ever saw anything like this was when getting a Secret level security clearance. But then they visit your neighbors and friends too :)

I always like the comment they gave about the process" We will know more about you than your proctologist"

That's different. The city doesn't need my Facebook login and password.

It's usually a violation of the membership agreement to give out your login and password info.

They have to make sure employees are only doing healthy things on the internet and nothing that will make them go blind. It's expensive to pay medical fees/disability payments to a blind person with hairy palms.
