No comparison. It's a nice try but nowhere as fun and deep and addictive as TTD. I just couldn't get into it. Kind of like Cities XL compares to SimCity2k/3k for me.
 
openTTD is far superior to the original transport tycoon. and CiM is nothing like it. I abandoned CiM. turned into a pay for content shitstorm.
