Citibank cash rewards is a waste. I have a few hundred bucks now and the only thing it's really good for is 10% off the face value of a gift card. Some it's worth a little more, but those are overpriced places to begin with.

Anyone have a useful way to use this crap?

I was able to use mine to get a pretty good deal on a motel in Orlando. I priced around quite a bit and this still shaved off about $15 / night.

That being said, I don't have any idea what I'll spend the rest on. I agree that the other junk is overpriced.
