At my friends office she has a Comcast modem/router (Without Wifi) and a Cisco WRVS4400N which was used for connecting to the company VPN. My friend has since acquired the business so has no need for the VPN functionality. I reset the Cisco and simply am using it as a wireless AP.
I did hook up all the printers and one desktop into the Cisco to keep everyone on the same subnet.
The office has 2 laptops and 1 desktop, it seems like every few hours both laptops briefly lose internet access, it sounds like the wireless connection is up but the internet connection drops. The desktop which is hard wired into the AP does not experience this issue. I have messed with many settings and cant figure out what the problem is. I even changed Wi-Fi channels.
Any ideas? The wireless was working fine before I reset it.
