I have 5 of those adapters. 3 are in constant use. The rest are spares. They mostly run great except for 2 things:

1) They do run hot. But I just popped the cover. No problem so far running with no cover.
2) The computers sometimes don't see the adapter on cold boot. I have to re-install the driver. Since the driver is on the built-in flash drive, it is no big deal, just annoying.

I used one of these on a Windows 7 64bit PC for a little while and would just lose wireless. Had to pull the unit and plug back in to get to work again. Finally ditched it for a Tomato based Ethernet bridge. Use this for working on other people's PCs in my house so I don't have to drag out a long cord into areas with no Ethernet connection.
