I'm going to be rolling out CSA on my network so hopefully I'll pick up some intimate knowledge of the software. Is there a cert I can pick up to let employers know I have gained some serious experience with the software?
 
None that we have seen.

The only thing good resource is Chad Sullivan's book. Chad was with Cisco, wrote the book, and formed his own consulting group (I can get his contact info if you guys want to look into hiring assistance.)

We are running 5.0.0.191 right now. Starting to plan 5.2.
