Cisco router emulator?

Friend and I have a project we are trying to complete for our CCNA class and we are wondering if anyone knows of a cisco router emulator. It makes it a lot easier to write configs and find commands if we have access to a real router.. or well an emulated one. Anyone able to help us?

I used Boson. It literally saved me--I would not have passed without it.

A lot of people also like Dynamips (I think that's what it is called). It basically is a program which turns your computer into a router--it actually runs the Cisco IOS. Keep in mind that since your computer is running router software, it really annihilates your RAM, so hopefully you have a lot of it... (Like if you're using 4 routers in your set up, that means that your computer is pushing out the load of four separate routers)

For my Cisco router classed I just took, my school gave us a Copy of the Boson Cisco router simulator software. That is some pretty awesome software, I think.

I'm trying to use Boston to emulate the Cisco 2600 routers we use in class and it's very different. Maybe I just don't know how to set it up to get what I want to see... I'll try Dynamips since that actually runs IOS.

ive noticed some major differences with the Boson as well. none the less, it should at least get you by the CCNA.

Dynamips is second only to a real router, the down side being that you need some kind of access to download and license to use the actual IOS image itself.
