Cisco jumping to IOS 15

It appears that wacky marketroids are up to their usual shenanigans. I was looking for an IOS download today when I discovered IOS version 15. It appears that instead of migrating the 12.4T train to 12.5, which is what would normally happen, they are jumping right up to IOS 15. I found one page with some speculation on why this was done, but it wasn't very convincing.

Cisco has scheduled a webcast for Tuesday 10/20 to announce "routing innovations", so perhaps that will be the formal announcement.

I think that the numbers 13 and 14 are unlucky, 13 in ours and 14 in some other cultures. Why they didn't move to 12.5 is beyond me.
