My employer gives me a bonus for getting a Cisco CSE if I get certified by February 28th. First are these reasonably respected for a sales guy to have and second I'm not a networking noob but not an expert either. Is it reasonable for me to expect to complete the 6 hour Cisco web class by Monday (I can study at home) and pass the certification on my first try on Tuesday?

Yes, it is reasonable to expect a sales person to have it.

No, they're not difficult tests.

It's mostly marketing mumbo-jumbo.

The acronym CSE is over used.
It sounds like it's Sales Expert in this case.
It can also stand for Customer Support Engineer (TAC), or Consulting Systems Engineer, in which case is subject expert in certain technologies.
