Anyone know if a WS-C3750G-24TS-E and WS-C3750G-24TS-1U can be stacked together, assuming they have the same IOS version & feature set?

When I do a "switch 2 provision ?" on the latter (-1u), the other model isn't listed.
The closest model is ws-c3750g-24ts. Is it the same as WS-C3750G-24TS-E? The only difference is the "-E" at the end.

I haven't actually done it with those models, but they should stack together fine. Are you saying you connected the StackWise ports and got nothing?

The "E" is not really part of the model, that's just an indication of which software feature set you bought.

But that's the key. The version of the software and feature set and which switch is master determines stack compatibility. I can't think of it off the top of my head, but there are stipulations on how you can stack depending on the version and type of switch. I'm sure the specifics are on cisco.com

you can't have a switch licensed for standard, join a switch that is licensed for enhanced I believe.

That's not quite right - you can stack SMI and EMI together (well, now they are called IP Base and IP Services). But if you are using EMI features and the last EMI switch in the stack fails, you are screwed.

Yes, the stack will run whatever feature set the master has, as long as they have the same version number.
I'm sending an additional 3750 to a remote site to add to an existing 3750, so can't connect them w/ StackWise and see if it'll work. I have to make sure it will work before I ship it over.
