Cisco 2507 IOS 12.3(26) problem

After having upgraded the IOS from 11.0 to 12.3(26), the hardware for the built-in 16 port hub is no longer recognized at boot. Cisco lists this IOS as proper for this router. The file version is c2500-c-l.123-26.bin. (access server version) Is it possible the c2500-i-l.123-26.bin would be better? (the IP version) Anyone had a similar experience? Any insight would be appreciated. I have 5 of these routers and am afraid to upgrade any more until I find out what's wrong.

You don't want the access server version. Use the other one.
