You most likely won't like this answer but I'm gonna tell you anways. DO NOT buy the Circuitwriter. I made that mistake and I swear I will never make it again. I tried the first connects, they simply wouldn't take. Even looking at them under a micro, they looked fine, but the chip WOULD NOT OC. So I tried again, same results. Cleaned with "Goo gone" and Isoprohol Alocohol and a lint free satin cloth, reapplied the CircuitWriter 3 more times, and it still didn't work. So I went to my local electronic store here in Tucson and picked up a CircuitWorks pen. It worked GREAT. As for the defogger, I couldn't help with that one...

Don't know about the defogger kit either, but I have used the CircuitWorks pen and it has worked fine. I didn't do a good job covering the bridges initially, but the second time worked fine.

my penciled duron is still working fine fpr about 3 months now :)

i used candle wax to seal the graphite on the L1 bridge, so it cannot get rubbed off / wear through
it was free too :D

Defogger kit worked out pretty good for me. Anyway, the pencil trick should also work and is a lot cheaper:)

Just got tired of my pencil trick (after 6 weeks) and decided to try out the defogger for the heck of it. Worked like a charm - now this is a permanent solution - no more worrying about the pencil.

For what it's worth, the pencil trick has worked great for me on 3 Durons and 1 T-Bird.
