Circuit City No Lemon guarnatee question

Greetings,
I purchased a Pioneer 500 watt Home theatre system 2 years ago. Since I have had it I have had it:
*Replaced for faulty equipment in the begining
* Repaired 3 times in the last 6 months
I can only find 2 of these claim coupons. However, I am very upset in having to bring it to Circuit City again and waiting another 2 weeks to be fixed,
I called up the consumer affairs office and they said the no lemon guarantee would not apply because of there not being three claims. I went to the store in Rochester NY and they would not exchange it for anything either. I currently moved to CT and was wondering what I should do to get this exchanged. The speakers sound horrible due to the problem and I am very wary about waiting 2 weeks getting them fixed and the same thing happening. What do you suggest?

Maybe I'm missing something, but why not just get them fixed for the 3rd time so you can use the no-lemon guarantee? The sooner the better, right?

The thing is that I have brought these speakers there 3 times. If you add the exchagne its 4 times.

I asked the manager if the problem happens again what do I do and he explained that they would ship them out again before an exchange. It seems that they are very unwilling to exchange them. And two weeks without speakers for servicing every time they fix them is long.

To the connection question, I have connected them right, I am using monster cable too.

If you really did send them in 3 times, they should be able to obtain a record of all three. There are only a few service centers and im sure your speakers went to the same one each time. It should not be difficult for them to get proof. Did you get a 3 or 5 year service plan?

Yes, I brought them into the service center three times. This is why I am dumbfounded as to why the first claim ticket is not showing up. I usually keep excellent copise of my records and I am unable to find this one. The service plan was for three years. It will end august 2005.

I still don't understand why they are having trouble looking it up. When you go in, who do/did you talk to?

I spoke with a lady on the phone in consumer affairs, and I spoke with the asst. manager in the rochester NY office. It is like the service was never rendered. I am shooting myself for misplacing that claim ticket. If worse comes to worse I will bring them in again but I am just wary since it will be 2 weeks, and I know the same problem will happen again.
At this point I think I would rather them just be exchanged.

Thats a bummer they can't find a record of it...I would just bring them in again then. Once you get them back, wait a week, then take them in a 4th(really 5th) time to get them exchanged.

Of course they can't find a record of it. That would mean they'd have to exchange your stuff, which they don't want to do. If you have some spare $$, I'd either buy a cheap pair of speaks to stand in while your others ones are perpetually repaired, or buy another home theater setup, get your existing set repaired, and then dump it on eBay.

HAHA!
I went to another circuit city store( a little farther away) I told the manager the situation and how I am keeping a log of this on the web and he just did a clean exchange. I ended up getting the
Onkyo Dolby® Digital EX/DTS®-ES 6.1-Channel Home Theater System
Onkyo Speaker Link
He gave me a credit of 445 and only charged me 449$ for the speakers. I ended up getting the 109 $ 3 year warranty since my last speakers had that and look at the problems I had. Was considering getting the monster and component cable for my HDTV but thoguht 70$ was way too high.
Thanks for all your help guys it helped me out!
