Circuit City CSR Rant

So i went to CC to pick up Wario Ware Twisted for my GBA. I went to pay for it, and the cashier was slow as molasses...

The cost of the guy's purchase came out to be 25.78, and he gave the cashier a $20, 5 singles, 3 quarters, and 3 pennies...she must have taken 2 minutes to count the money, and put it into the till. Next thing you know, shes giving him 5 cents in change!! wtf?! so shes a stupid lady...no big deal...

when it was my turn, she took my game, scanned it, and started taking a bag out....so I told her that i wasn't going to be needing a bag since it was such a small item...the next thing that came out of my mouth shocked me....she told me to "have some respect for yourself"... i was like wtf? have some respect for myself? its a plastic freaking bag how is that respecting myself if i use one or not?!?!? then she went into this long rant about how it discourages stealing and what not....isn't that what the receipt is for?!?!!?

jeez i wanted to smack her, it would have been fine if she just said, im sorry, but you have to take the bag, but giving me a lecture on it was uncalled for... :frown:

I would've told her that she should have more concern for her job than you should have respect for yourself, and that if she doesn't shut the hell up and ring you up you're going to go talk to a manager. No excuse for that, at all.

Weird. At Best Buy we tried to use as few bags as possible because of the theft angle. We weren't even allowed to keep bags at the tills at the back of the store.
