Cipher suites in Server 2003

I just came across this hotfix to add more modern cipher suites to Server 2003.

Does this only apply to Exchange or IIS as well? It seems to me that installing this shouldn't cause any issues, just add broader support - is that right?

(and yes, I know that 2003 is near end of support)

It should apply to anything that uses Schannel which generally includes all Microsoft products (since they don't often (ever?) use the alternatives (OpenSSL, etc).
