I got one text every day the past week from cingular trying to sign me up for some friends and family crap or sell me headsets. It's extremely annoying. Actually, it started well over a week ago, the bastards woke me up last weekend with it.

text messages have one purpose: "WHERE THE ****** ARE YOU? WE HAVE A PRESENTATION IN 15 MINUTES" while you're in a place where you can't just call them up and scream (i.e. in class, next up to give a presentation that's 50% of your grade)
