cingular/att question

Anyone know if you can move over to cingular from attws if you already have an account with ATTWS with contract?

reason, i want the Treo 650 and i hear rumors attws will not carry it but cingular.

cingular + lotsa money = att bought out

your service is NOW through cingular they haven't done a complete change over but services should be interchangleable now.

ok good because attws plans suck compared to the cingular website.

you can migrate to cingular's plan without ETF, you only have to pay $18 upgrade fee.

the only bad thing is (if you are almost done with your contract wiht ATT) that you will essentially create a new contract with Cingular, either one or two year.

i think they are going to redo all the new plans so there wont be separate ones.

Treo 650 will be available for ATTWS (they call them 'Cingular Blue' now) customers, but only for customers who have sponsorship accounts (FAN/NBO)

that's not going to happen soon, i don't think it would happen for the next two years. a lot of ATTWS customers have this 'customized' plan that is far better than the current Cingular's plans that are being offered, so they don't want to migrate, while Cingular will not terminate these people from their contract since they might not even want to go to Cingular.

I'm just a regular joe, and i want the treo 650 for personal use, i hope i'm able to get it.
