This sucks because I just bought it and now can't get it working on Windows Vista 64 bit at all. Does anyone know if Cinema Craft Encoder works on Vista 64 bit?
 
The company that sells the software probably does. Check their support pages or give them a call. Maybe they have a user forums.
 
Well I loaded it on my slow windows xp machine thats not even worth using but it installed and worked fine at least just will take forever to encode video on. At least it works though. Thank god for the backup machine but I only put windows xp on it because it could never handle windows vista.

I haven't run CCE for a long time, but i can't anyway anyway.

Yes it is. Reminds me of Microsoft not supporting their own finger printer password manager reader for Windows Vista 64 bit. Though they have drivers that work fine with Vista 32 bit andd a different company that uses a finger print reader that was made by Microsoft is able to offer Vista 64 bit drivers way before Microsoft ever did.

Now instead of taking 90 minutes to do a CCE encode it will take well over 6 hours on my old system with windows xp on it sense thats the only windows os it can run up to ok. There no way it could handle windows vista its to old of a machine. Sucks though because I hate having to wait so long. Not like I have two high end machines and can put windows xp on one and windows vista on another. Even if I dual boot on my high end machine still can't run CCE while using Vista as my main OS. Unless a run windows xp in a emulator within windows vista but even then I bet the performance of CCE would suffer a lot. Wouldn't it ?
