Looks like i5/i7 is at least 30% faster than PII clock-for-clock, and the gap grows larger as HT comes into effect. Only thing that I find strange is the multiprocessor speed-up without HT seems low. Is that just for the 750?

Thank you. I feel like an idiot sometimes.

Don't worry you'll become more detail oriented as you spend more time around this stuff. Your brain capacity and capability will grow as you continue to stretch and grow up(? assuming you're younger than 20)-- I swore mine wouldn't, but it definitely has noticeably as I've gone from 18 to 22.

I would like if someone could run Cinebench with HT but withOUT Turbo-- to see how much the HT helps per CPU (of course this is dependent on how efficiently the code (or perhaps compiler) makes use of each CPU-- is it leaving FPUs inactive? One could conceivably code an application that would purposefully leave FPUs inactive for the purpose of gaining that performance back by simply spawning more threads and letting the HT fill up the rest of the FPUs. Come to think of it, this would be a very sly/clever way to a). make Intel's HT look better, b). make AMD chips perform worse and c). make Intel's compiler look "better" at "optimizing" for their HyperThreaded chips. I should sell them this idea).

Turbo doesnt work if your already on the highest multi.

Example if your running a 920, and your multi is preset to 21x, you will NOT get 22x.

Its when your running stock 20x, under load will it jump to 21x.

Need to run few more tests to check for stability. My load temps are about 300C°.

Cookie for the PS job.

Likely won't be beaten. I'M THE KING OF THE WORLD BITCHES!!!!!!!! :D

I'll have some 4.8Ghz runs later when i'm benching the 5770

GHZ wont help ya here pal.

Trust me, i tried.. unless you got a hugh overclock head, (OR Extra cores..) <--- how i beat ruby overall.

Ruby beat me with less GHZ... her ram timings = Godly.

*kicking the can*
The female overclockers who know what they are doing.. really really really scare me..
