Is it only me or are other people sick of hearing about her? Just when I think she is out of my face for good, there she is again. OK Cindy, go ahead & tie yourself to the White House fence . I'm sure President Bush will definately bring them all home then, doubletime. Don't get me wrong, I am all for her right to protest. I'm even sure that if I lost one of my children for any reason, I would lose my mind as she has. Here is my question: Would we be hearing about her if her son had NOT died in the war? Do you think she would care about OTHER people's children who have died in this war? Somehow I think not. Sadly she is using this tragedy to her benefit. Her son Casey's grave doesn't even have a headstone. Some grieving mother. Thats all I have.

Even with the deference you (and I) must give to a woman who has lost as son the way she has, her body language, speeches and overall behavior have disgusted me thoroughly...
IMO she has passed from losing credibility to deserving some degree of ire for her actions and words, and attention whoring.

She is not doing this for a right-wing popularity contest, she is spreading a message and I for one respect her and her courage, the typical american does grow tired quickly of a cause but unlike her the fight is not over when you flip the channel.

You are describing it as something that it is not. For you to turn my opinion of her behavior into me wishing there was no first ammendment shows how much you are willing to assign motivations based on absolutely no evidence. Perhaps this extremely sloppy reasoning carries over into other areas and helps to explain some of your other absurd conclusions.
By the way, I did not support the idea of going into Iraq initially, and you have no idea about my opinions towards the war. This is about Cindy Sheehan. Obfuscation really is the correct term to describe the way several of you have posted here.
It seems there is an inability to address the actual comments made and instead red herrings, straw men or whatever other logical fallacy in a sea of them are used to respond to or divert from the topic.
Lowers any credence that should be given to your postings.
I think actually, I try not to let feelings dictate my actions or opinions. Animals feel, humans are different because we have the capacity for reason. (Some less than others.)
BUT would she care? Would she be protesting for other peoples children or loved ones that died in the war, had her son not died? Because it happened to HER, she now cares. Im just wondering who agrees with that. I'm trying to sympathize with her, but to think that she is exploiting her dead son, and using this whole media circus to her benefit is really a sad thing.
