So who in here smokes cigars? I went to get gas last night and saw cherry tobacco swisher cigars next to register. Remembering the good smell from my youth at my grandfathers I bought 'em. All I can say is I remember them smelling better :) Maybe next time I'll try a real cigar. You guys have a favorite or suggestion?

I love cigars. Been smokin' them for over a year now. Don't smoke them regularly, but I enjoy them every now and then. I also like cloves. Best thing I've ever smoked, though, was a Don Diego Playboy that I bought in PA. I was impressed, but smoking $10 cigars could get expensive quick. Besides, they don't make your clothes or breath smell very good.

Which is why it's not a habit I pursue.

viper sounds like me...although i've been smoking cigars for more like 3 years now... i have a few favorites, and yes they are all about 1000x better than any swisher or tampa nugget or anything like that. my favorite cheaper cigar is called a don floura or something close to that...it has a teak green label and is usually around 3-4. getting a lil more expensive is a fuente, usually an especial. one of my friends actually just got back from spain and brought me some cubans from switzerland...they're in the humidor right now waiting for a special occassion.

Uppman Number 9 and Montecristo's were 'it' for me. Thank God, Cuban cigars were never illegal in Canada. Aw, such a civilised country. :)

And a little cherry Borkum Riff when I was the mad piper. ;)

Ahhhhhhhh........ the Montecristo. Nothing is better than a good cuban cigar. I don't smoke them much (on my birthday, new years and special events). I've heard that the US may lift the embargo (I heard this on a little news clip on CNN) soon so you Americans can once again enjoy the Cuban cigar.

Cheers,

AAAHHH, yes there's nothing better than having a cigar with an espresso and fine cognac after a 5-dish dinner.

Nothing beats a good cigar. It's been a while since I've had one. I have a few around here that were given to me by a client. One is a VegaFina, and the other is a J-R Suprema. I haven't either before

Aquaman,

Some of us Americans already enjoy Cuban cigars on a regular basis.

I am also lucky enough to live in Tampa, Fla. so we got some damn fine locally made cigars.I found one brand (sorry can't remember which right) that I think is just as good as all but one of the Cuban cigars I have tried.
