Cigarette lighter polarity?

Which terminals are + and - on a cigarette lighter plug? I want to charge my phone with my computer, and need to know which terminals to connect the yellow and black wires to. I would assume that the center is positive, but you never know. When I say positive, I mean where the electrons go into the plug (from the +12 on my molex).
Sprint replaced my borked phone but the new one doesn't fit my charger.

Better use a voltage meter, Some foreign cars are reverse.

Or do the ol battery and wire with lightbulb trick.

:)

If it is a standard lighter, the center terminal is positive, the outer negative.

Well this is a phone adaptor that I'm trying to use so foreign cars being reversed shouldn't be a problem :).
