Cider suggestions

Currently drinking Strongbow, flavor isn't bad. Anyone have suggestions for anything better or something I should try?

Not really a cider head, but Woodchuck is alright. Kind of sweet, but it makes a nice diversion from beer on occasion. I don't know how it stands up to the competition.

I'll take cider over most beers. Woodchuck is always good, Magners is another option. Less sweet, more carbonated and crisp taste.

Will have to try out Magners it looks like. Heard from a friend that Growers Cider from Canada is really good. When I head up there this summer I will try to find some. Might also have to look into Crispin. Ace brand ciders haven't made it to the east coast so im not sure where to get that one. Thanks for the suggestions guys!

Woodchuck is a big fave of mine. It is loaded with sugar. There are multitudes of other flavors they make aside from apple. I haven't tried them, yet!

I like both Strongbow and Woodchuck, but nothing will ever beat real, good, local cider with Captains for me.

Woodchuck has too much of a sugary aftertaste. Strongbow is the shit. I love it. People make fun of me for drinking it instead of beer (I still love beer) until they drink it. It's stronger than beer, and if you're not careful you can drink a six pack in no time flat since it's easier to drink faster than beer. Strongbow has caused me to go home a time or two with a woman (the ex) I shouldn't have.

If you can find it, then try "K". It's in a black bottle and is up there with Strongbow. It's near impossible to find though.

Magners is ok. Always seems a little more flat to me. A distributor told me that Magners uses a shit ton of food coloring and that it impacts the taste. I've also heard Magners is best served over ice.

Boston Beer (the Sam Adams guys) have one called Hardcore. I think it's actually made out of OH but should be available on the east coast. Comes in two varieties (one more traditional). Decent middle-of-the-road cider.

I have to add my vote in for Ace. Best cider I've tried, hands down. Not easy to find in some areas but so very worth it.

I need to weigh in in favor of Magner's I like tart/crisp drinks and that hits the spot. Far preferable to strongbow or woodchuck imo. There are some quality pear ciders out there as well...
