I sincerely hope you're smart enough to realize that's not what I said above.

You are correct, I didn't mean you.

(Doesn't mean I always agree with you though :D )
k, cool. I also sincerely hope that NOBODY agrees with me every single time.. that would be a little creepy! LOL! ;)

In all seriousness, the point I was trying to make above is that we should never just stop and sit on our hands if/when someone like Pakistan says "NO, you can't go after them on our soil."

First, we should present our case and ask the host nation to assist us. If they refuse, or, as with Pakistan, if they fail to take care of the situation for us, then, and only then, should we take action to resolve the situation ourselves.

The bottom line is that the known enemies of the US, and our allies, should never be allowed a safe haven from which to operate. That is simply unacceptable.

Seriously, this exact sort of thing is what the CIA needs to be doing MORE of. We know AQ has re-formed inside Pakistan's autonomous tribal zones, we know they have support there, we know Pakistan has zero control there, we know Bin Ladin is being sheltered there.

How many reasons do you need?
