As do many others.The UAW treats drunkenness and substance abuse as a "disease".
Alcohol/drug abuse policies are contractually different from company to company but mine was "three rehab strikes and you're out" and there was no expunging.
Substance abuse isn't limited to Union members and I've seen many management personnel exhibt the same behaviour with no negative consequences other than a wrist slap.
