Oooh.. very nice.

What sort of price range will this fall into?

Somewhere between $5,000-$50,000 😀

I was much more excited about this car until they watered it down with the MB engine 🙁 215 horses is nice and all, but they shoulda aimed higher...

Well, we don't know where Chysler plans to market this car. 215HP puts the car ahead of the entry level roadsters (Miata, MR2 Spyder), while still being competitive to mid-end roadsters (S2000, Z4, Boxster).

I'm pissed they dumbed down the design. First the Caddy XLR, and now this. :frown:

edit: Just looked at some old pics of the initial concept cars. They don't look that different, but the front facia of both concepts appeared much more aggressive. Maybe it was just the lighting. *shrug*

If its going to be competeting with a TT (MSRP - $31,200-$36,100) then either add or subtract $10,000 from that to get a better ballpark.

This car WOULD have been nice had it not been for the 350Z which runs from $27k to $35k. Chrysler just got it's ass handed to them. Considering that the G35 Coupe will only run about a thousand more than that price range, the Crossfire is OWNED😛

Let's not even talk performance where the Crossfire will get ass rammed.

Is the Crossfire really going to be priced in 350Z territory?

If so it doesn't stand a chance.

But if they can price it at $15-20K, they could have a decent chance.

I like the looks of it, very TT-ish... But the 215 HP needs to be increased by at least 50 hp.

$15 - 20k???? Haha, NO.

The Crossfire is going to have a base price of $30,000 according to the latest issue of Motor Trend. I mean, it uses 40% Mercedes hardware (engine, transmission, suspension, SLK dashboard, and it is built by Karmann Coachworks in Germany).
