Chronicles of Spellborn - Another one (sort of) bites the dust.

Apparently the Chronicles of Spellborn isn't going away, but Spellborn Works BV has filed for bankruptcy after a whole 3 months of Spellborn being on the market. Acclaim has given Frogster (of Runes of Magic fame) rights to "redevelop" Spellborn into a F2P micro-transaction game.

In the meantime, it's not shutting down, and will still be taking subscriptions. However it is basically dead. I "won" a free 1 month premium subscription, and for the simple fact that I couldn't even INSTALL the game due to technical issues, I basically made judgment there.

Add this one to the bone pile.
 
I'm a fairly avid gamer and this thread is the first time I have ever heard about the game

I tried this game out along with Runes of Magic. I think this one would have been better than Runes of Magic. It just wasn't ever discussed, and had some odd combat game play (making your own combos) but the implementation was half r-tarded. Anyways I played it for about 2 hours and uninstalled it. I don't think I'd even play the game if it was free. Then again I can't play Runes of Magic and its free.
