I've searched for a demo and came up empty. There's plenty of sources of a video trailer of the game around if anyone wants to see it in action. Maybe they'll release a demo soon?

I just picked up CoR yesterday and am psyched to play this puppy.
I also ordered the parts for my new rig a few days ago - A64 3400+ and a BFG 6800GT OC - which should help in playing this game. I don't think my current XP1800+ and 9600Pro are up to the task with some of these newer games. FarCry has been a struggle.
I can't stand Vin Diesel either but I heard that even if you don't like him or his movies this is still a killer game.
Can anyone comment on the hand-to-hand combat in the game? I've read that it's pretty intense.

I watched my friend play it on his Xbox this weekend (first time seeing it). It aint a bad game, but it has nothing on Farcry or Halflife 2, not even close.

Basically, it was developed by a (new?) Swedish development studio who created their own engine. Starbreeze is probably the latest version of it - they originally came up with it for various console FPS games, AFAIR. Except their previous games were probably flops compared to Riddick, which seems to have won a lot of critical acclaim...
It's not the fall that gets you . . .
. . . . it's that sudden stop at the bottom
