Chrome Rims for BMW Z3...

I am thinking about getting some aftermarket Chrome rims for my 1996 BMW Z3. I'm new to this, but if I got 18"+, and my current wheels are 16" I believe, would I have to change tires? I think the bolt pattern is 5-120, not sure though. Anyone know any good sites of have any suggestions on where to look? Thanks

Yes. An 18" wheel will definitely not fit 16" tires. It will only fit 18" tires.

was just an idea, hard to choose online without seeing in person. And I don't have 4 G's to spend at the moment =)

Chrome can look nice if the design on the wheels compliments all of the shininess. Just get whatever is most appealing to you. But yes, you would need new tires. You also (though I'm not sure) might need to stiffen your shocks, as you won't have as much travel with 18" rims as you do with 16"ers

There are these things called tires that go around the wheels... when you get bigger wheels you get lower profile tires...
