Chrome OS - remote management

I'm considering getting my mom a Samsung Chromebox (running Chrome OS) to replace her 10-year old, broken computer. I've been playing around with Chromium in VirtualBox and think it would be great for her. One potential sticking point would be my ability to support any issues remotely as I live on the other side of the country.
1. Can I remote into a Chrome machine (from Windows or Linux or Android or the Chromium VM)? Sometimes it is easier to understand a problem by seeing it. The Chrome device needs to "host" the remote session.
2. Are there any cloud-based management features for consumers?
3. Can apps be pushed to a Chrome device from the web like you can with Android?

thanks in advance

I don't have an answer for you, but why do you like ChromeO/S for your mother? It seems awfully limiting to me, and you remove potential fixes to problems yet unknown.

limitation is what I'm after in a way. rather than taking a full-blown OS and locking it down after the fact
all she ever uses is the web browser (and she prefers Chrome). She has had malware/virus issues in the past. I believe something like Ubuntu would be too complex. She often calls to ask "Is it one click or two?" Everything in a web browser sound like a good way to simplify

I'm playing around with the Chromium VM to see how limited it is

I have a thread in *nix where I installed Ubuntu for my mother. It hasn't gone too badly. She used Firefox and Thunderbird on Windows, so it wasn't a big transition. I've had one black screen error on wakeup, but otherwise everything's worked ok. I'm using Teamviewer for maintenance of the machine, and that seems to work pretty well. I have it set to login automatically, and Teamviewer is set to autostart, so I can reboot if necessary, and pick up control once the system is back up. When I get the time/mood, I want to setup a system using native GNU/Linux tools for adminning the system. Mostly for the education, and elegance.
