Chrome or Firefox?

Opera has had that for a while, and doesn't need an extension. Opera Link

Also, Opera Turbo makes my work (DSL 480/384kbps) browsing much more tolerable. Opera Unite makes it easy to access work files from home, and vice versa.
 
primarily use Chrome

use Firefox and/or Internet Explorer sometimes since Chrome doesn't play nice with certain online streams
 
Still using Firefox, & while it has gotten more bloated 🙁, it still has too many extensions i use to give up.

Also, i don't really like Google software...
 
It's little things about Chrome that I don't like. Like the inability to have multi-row bookmarks in the bookmarks toolbar (easily remedied with an extension in Firefox). Similarly I tried the AdThwart extension to block ads in Chrome - it works but with one annoying quirk: it first loads/displays the ads, and then removes them after the page has hit 100% completion. It's quick but still noticeable on my 768kbps connection. Adblock Plus' functionality (don't load/query the adserver) is way better.

Chrome definitely does appear to have a faster rendering engine; built-in user scripts are nice as well. I use 'Youtube Enhancer' and frankly couldn't live without it; it works in Chrome but some features appear to work properly only in Firefox.

I also recently installed the Opera 10.5 pre-alpha. The integrated mail client is way too easy. I simply click the mail icon on the left-sidebar and BOOM!, I have quick access to my IMAP accounts with handy quick-reply and easy ability to manage contacts. Clicking on an email link loads a new 'Compose Email' tab in a fraction of a second. That feature and responsiveness is something I definitely wish Firefox had. Smooth-scrolling complex webpages (with tons of embedded flash videos and messy tables) also works better. Stability and random pauses don't seem to happen like they do with Firefox.

But I still use Firefox because of certain extensions, user scripts and overall familiarity. I guess it's the one app I use regardless of performance due to usability.

I'd much rather switch to Opera than Chrome, that's for sure.

I like Chrome too, but the memory footprint is larger than Firefox with more than one tab open. And Chrome eats shit occasionally with flash and shockwave content. But I like the layout and usage of screen space of Chrome.
 
I like chrome for how fast it is, but it has some issues with flash and a couple UI annoyances for me. I've been thinking of going back to FF because of it
 
I used Firefox for years and now use Chrome exclusively. Love it infinitely more. Loads up pages faster, the program loads up faster, it's more minimal, and just downright better.
 
I prefer Firefox. It runs a bit slowly on my work computer, but that's because I use several add-ons and GreaseMonkey scripts. However, I prefer the extra features of the add-ons over speed, and speed isn't an issue on my home computer, so it's FF all the way for me.

Amen... adblock and noscript (and plenty of other handy ones). If they ever work with chrome I may give it a look.

Sure it is more bloated... but RAM is cheaps and CPU's are fast... so I do not notice. I am actually using firefox now on my home server which is a 2gb ram, atom 330. Runs like a champ. 133 megs of ram for firefox.exe with multiple tabs open... no biggie.
 
I'm convinced that Chrome killed Firefox on my laptop.

I used Chrome for awhile but eventually switched back to FF because I didn't like the browser layout on Chrome... but ever since switching back and uninstalling Chrome, I *cannot* log into any google sites (gmail, youtube) in firefox unless I clear my browser cache and even then, the issue reasserts itself after a restart.
 
Chrome. I used to use Firefox, then tried Chrome..eventually I formatted/installed Win7 and I didn't bother reinstalling Firefox.
 
chrome is faster but is designed for retards.

i would prefer to use firefox, but it's become as much a security risk as IE and even more of a resource hog. dumbass programmers have been steadily ruining it for awhile now.
 
Now that Chrome 4 dev is supporting extensions, and they're easily accessible through their portal, I'm using Chrome. Definitely needs some polish, but overall it works very well and is fast as hell.
