Chrome or Firefox?

Just switched back to PC from Mac, and don't know which to use, especially now that Chrome 4.0 supports extensions (which, TBH, I don't see myself using on either browser).

Thoughts?

Chrome needs some polishing, but it's faster and less bloated than Firefox for me.

I'm still using Firefox on my main computer, but gradually switching over to Chrome for laptop and Opera for mobile.

I've currently been using Firefox on both Windows and Mac, but only because I've been using it for years and I'm comfortable with it. A friend of mine tried out Chrome last night for the first time and to me it looked pretty snazzy, maybe I'll try it out sometime for myself.

I just switched to Chrome from IE & Firefox. Firefox uses up way too much memory. IE is just too damn slow at everything. Chrome is very minimalistic and slick, which is what I like about it. I don't need a dozen add-ons.

For simple no frills web surfing, Chrome > Firefox.

Firefox's addons seal the deal for me. I'm just patiently waiting for it to sandbox tabs into their own processes and it'll be good.

Firefox b/c of the add-ons but Chrome is faster. However, I believe the coming Firefox 3.6 is supposed to give Chrome a run for it's money in performance.

Words cannot express my hatred for that bloated POS Firefox. IE is barely better, but still slow and has annoying behavior. Chrome is small, fast and doesn't do anything annoying.

Chrome might be better, but I still prefer Firefox because of the addons like Adblock Plus, Xmarks(Extremely important), gmail notifier(also important), and the occasional greasemonkey script.

I have not got a adblock plus type script to work in chrome yet, idk why it doesn't work. :/

Adblock, Xmarks and Gmail notifier are now available on Chrome.

Where? >_< I am getting lots of shitty results in my google searches

whoa, found the real deal... nvm.

Their stupid gmail notifier type program does not do multiple accounts from what I read. 🙁

There's Gmail Notifier Plus (or something) that does multiple accounts I think.

Which ad blocking program do you use, because the AdThwart one really sucks! It loads the page THEN removes the ads?! WTF?! It should just block that shit from the start!

Ugh, fucking adblock does it too.

Back to yee old firefox where this does not happen...

Firefox for me. Chrome's fast, but too stripped, and a little buggy. Here's my preference...

Firefox
Opera
Chrome
IE
Safari? :^D :^D :^D
