Hmm...depending on what pages people are using, that could explain why they see faster performance and I don't - I have flash disabled in my default browser.

Works great on rooted HTC Sensation that is running Virtuous Inquisition ICS 4.0.3. Love the tab switching. I opted out from signing in, and with such wonderful results, I think this will replace my Opera.

I do not like how I cannot switch to desktop mode. I do not like mobile based sites.

Found a first glitch on my phone. When I do tab switching sometimes, I get pink artifacts.

Ok . So I played with it some more on Galaxy Nexus and Touchpad. I got some random force closures and crashes on the Touchpad but it worked well. But the overall experience was not good as on the Galaxy Nexus. Chrome is faster and smoother on the Galaxy Nexus. I don't know if that has something to do with CM9 being alpha on the Touchpad or Google developed Chrome with Nexus in mind.

I like the WebOS like card tabs swiping away bit but I really like the global sync with the desktop chrome. It's like chrome to phone on steroids. Finally I have access to all my desktop bookmarks and can switch back and forth between desktop and mobile bookmarks. Very cool. And the coolest thing is you can access your recent opened tab on your desktop on your phone so you can continue to read or browse where you left off on your desktop. This sync is what I've been wanting and waiting for. Try it out if you haven't already. You need to sign in on desktop chrome in setting to get it start syncing. Cool.cool. cool.

Do you have to wait a bit or can you force sync? The only other device I see is my Droid 1. Installed CM9 and Chrome on it to see if it'd work.

edit: NM, just synced. And screw flash. The only battery pull I've had to do was shortly after installing flash. It may not have been related, but it left a sour taste. It's history at this point anyway

edit2: liking it on the touchpad. It does seem not as smooth. I think switching between regular and incognito tabs is really slick.

Adobe has already stated they aren't going to support Flash in this browser, and I think that's a good decision considering they'd need to invest extra resources into a platform they've already decided to kill off.

Frankly, I prefer native HTML5 apps anyway. I really wish that all YouTube videos would default to playing in the native app instead of the browser though (Chrome doesn't seem to do this).

Chrome Will be replacing android stock browser with all those desktop features. That is now i can sync my desktop chrome bookmarks with my Galaxy S. Epic!

It won't replace stock browser for me. It doesn't have Flash and no desktop mode. But Ill use it for global sync and bookmark feature. Chrome will go in my browser folder with stock and Dolphin. I stopped using Opera in ICS as I don't feel the need. But I still use Opera in Froyo and Gingerbread devices.

I'm sure they'll add the desktop mode after it being a feature they showed off in ICS. I sent feedback requesting it, everyone who loves that mode should! Obviously flash support isn't coming. Doesn't bother me much though.

Can someone tell me why I would want to sync tabs from desktop to a phone? I browse different things on those. I don't want the same stuff I have open in my desktop on a tiny underpowered device. I always have at least 10-15 tabs open, many of those for weeks as reminders of stuff I need to do, read or watch, why would I want to clog up a phone with that? Having totally different browsing habits on 24" PC and a 3.5" mobile device I don't quite see the value.

Browser looks cool otherwise though.

They don't automatically show up. They are stored in a "folder" similar to bookmarks, so you can open them if you want to. I think it's really neat cause I do a lot of desktop to phone switching with Google Talk and Gmail already, and now I can do it with Chrome as well.
