Chrome browser settings

Trying to figure out how to adjust settings for the android version. On several sites, and notoriously bad on AT, when the ad banner at the top finally opens after accessing a page i've already pressed a link or am currently pressing one. The result on numerous occasions is that I am eventually sent to what now occupies the space I pressed instead of my intended destination. Anyway to force it to save space for ad crap like that?

Yeah it's one of the most annoying thing when using browsers without ad blockers. I've been using Firefox with the ublock extension in my Note 5 and having no ads is worth the slow performance.

I just switched to using Samsung browser 4 with the ad blocker plugin and actually like it quite a bit. It's much much faster than Firefox and looks just as effective in blocking ads. However basically is a one device browser - not much in the way of continuity.

You can try to install ad-blocker plugins for your chrome browser. Hope it will works. There have many ad-blocker plugins available.
