I wish they would add a menu system to the interface like IE or FF.

Why? Both are depreciated, at some point they'll be cut out entirely. Both are depreciated probably because Chrome started the trend. It makes little sense for Google to add one now.

Don't get me wrong, if I go back to Firefox (hopefully the multi-threadedness will come to something decent), I used to use the classic menus (Classic Theme Restorer), and I'll probably do so again if I revert to FF; the fact that I have to go to the old FF menu system to find certain options (such as page saving) is a testament to Mozilla not getting it right quite yet.
 
Supposedly this will be less of a battery hog, which is a really good thing. I had basically switched to Edge on my ThinkPad because the difference was quite dramatic. Chrome has become so out of control bloated and hoggy that this update is hopefully a step in the right direction.
