I have a Moto 360 and it sucks.

1)Most watches arrive with dead pixels. I exchanged twice and still I got one with dead pixels. If you have a Moto 360 and think you don't have dead pixels, set it to max brightness and reboot the watch... You will see dead pixels against the black boot screen too.

2)Android wear has a glitch where many times it will not display my full email message. Sometimes it will open it up and I can rad the whole thing and sometimes it wont happen no mater what.

3)Heart rate sensor is often inaccurate and even more often simply doesn't read my HR. I often have to do it twice just to get a reading.

4)The pedometer is horrible. It is wayyyy off, and if you swing your arm it will often count it as a step.

It does not let you take or make calls. Only pick up and transfer to phone. There's no camera either. And that horrible black sensor on the bottom that makes the screen look like a flat tire... Thought it wouldn't bother me, but boy is it annoying...

Want a good smart-watch? Get a Galaxy Gear. Gen 1 or 2 if you got the cash.

I got a Gen 1 Gear and it rocks. Rock solid. Can be upgraded from Android to Tizen. Great battery life on Tizen, ability to take and make calls, camera, pedometer is accurate, and best of all, emails and texts always show up perfectly and let you read the whole thing every time.

No Heart Rate monitor on Gen 1..... Whatever. I use my phone camera instead.

PoofyHairGuy seems to love his.

Actually I have the LG G Watch. But I am a huge fan of Android Wear, I don't know if I could go back to a pre-wear age. My best friend has the 360 so I have played with it a lot, it is a great smartwatch.

I was sold on the 360 until I saw the Asus zenwatch. I think that might be my first smart watch.

Might be the best looking watch buy it isn't IP67 which is a no-no for any watch I think.

For #2 just tap the screen and it finishes loading. No dead pixels here either.

I know I have to tap on the screen. But many times the emails just don't load past 1st 2-3 lines.

Are you 100% sure about the dead pixels?

Odd, never had that, not once and I've had it since September. And positive about the no dead pixels.

No dead pixels here, pretty happy with mine to be honest. I'm consistently getting 2 days battery life, although I just installed facer and I've heard that can be detrimental. I like the notifications on my wrist and have found a few apps I really like to use with it (controlling Hue lights FTW). I also use it for Smart Lock which is nice since our Exchange server requires complex phone passwords. Almost considered switching to an iPhone just for the fingerprint reader.

I also swapped out for a metal band, which has drastically improved the look IMO.

Finally got a hold of one today. The watch is beautiful, but the leather strap feels cheap. I thought the low-res display would bother me, but honestly it doesn't bother me that much, pixels are visible mainly when I go into settings and have to scroll through the small sized fonts, but for glancing at the time and incoming texts and email it's fine since I don't spend more than 5 seconds doing those activities.

The touch screen can be a bit iffy when it comes to touch response, but it's fine for the most part. Battery life is too early to tell, but from what I'm told 5.0 improves on that.

I went over to ifixit and watched the tear down, and it seems awfully difficult to get into the battery compartment to change it out myself when the time comes. I'm still 50/50 on spending a good amount of coin for something I know will be pretty much be non functional in two years time. Maybe in 2-3 years smart watches will have reached a saturation point where the price point will be low enough (sub $100?) for me to be able to swallow spending money on a smart watch every 2 years? *shrug*

BTW, I dunno why but I am not receiving vibrating notices for incoming calls/texts/emails. I have theatre mode on with mute off.

Smartwatch is very much still in it's infancy. I remember paying $200 for a PCMCIA wifi card and $600 for a wifi router back in the days of being an early adopter. I see a smart watch in becoming a part of my daily routine, but not sure if that time is now. Leaning towards returning it for now.
