Christmas Vacation Movie Party, What to wear?

ScAndal

Senior member
Every year we attend a National Lampoons Christmas Vacaction party and people dress up like characters of the movie. I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas what I could get for costumes?

We are severe die-hards of this movie and I really want to find some cool stuff to wear.

Any ideas?

wear the big red bow, a bathrobe, and have the rope tied around your wrists the way randy quade brings his boss in at the end.

Go as the guy on the bike (that keeps getting run over) from the European Vacation movie. That'll really throw them off. 😉

find the outfit that randy quaid is wearing when he and chevy are at the grocery store. 😀

HAHA I thought about that too. I could stuff my pants and get a Blue Liesure Suit.

Load up a shopping cart full of 'Ole Roy'

one of my favorite parts in the movie is when randy quaid is gettin his eggnog, and clark is talking, and you see randy quaid looking all curious in the background at the little spinning carousel type thing, and he just kinda plucks it and it breaks. hahaha that cracks me up every time i see it!

Quaid's xmas get up with the Dickie underneath showing through.
Or (as previoulsy suggested) the outfit hes wearing when shopping (get an extra-large bag of dogfood too)

Be Uncle Louis. But after his toupee has caught fire!
Ellen: Oh Aunt Bethany, you shouldn't have done that.
Aunt Bethany: Oh dear, did I break wind?
Uncle Lewis: Jesus, did the room clear out, Bethany? Hell no, she means presents. You shouldn't have brought presents.
