Christmas or Christmas Eve @ Midnight?

For me, neither since I don't have anyone to give me a gift and I've already openned my Secret Santa's gift. (Which was perfect!) 🙂

What about the rest of you with families and friends and shit?

Christmas with parents/immediate family on christmas eve after everyone gets off work. Pot of chili on the stove, then gifts. Christmas day go to extended family and in-laws

When I was little, I used to get to open one gift (chosen by a parent) on Christmas Eve. The rest were opened Christmas morning.

I do both. Some of my family gets together Christmas eve, and the rest gets together Christmas day. We do it this way because getting all the gifts together for everyone in one place on one day would be a logistical problem.

P.S. Need to add "both/all of the above" to your poll.

for me, Christmas is a season, a month of treats large and small, gift giving spread out
over the month. I really enjoy doing it that way, I can focus more on each person I'm gifting, really savor that time spent with them rather than a blurry flury of wrapping paper and the emotional let down that comes after.

We've been opening our gifts on Christmas Eve after dinner for many years now. Then on Christmas Day, everyone just relaxes. And we watch "A Christmas Story", of course.

Christmas morning at 6am or maybe 3-5pm depending on when i wake up. Sometimes open a gift on christmas eve... havent done that in a while though i dont like it.

Depends which part of the family I'm visiting.

This year, it's Christmas Eve with my parents/sibling, and Christmas day with my grand parents/aunts/uncles.
