Gang. As you know, Xmas is coming up pretty quick and I recently moved and sold all my music and dvd's and what not. Today, I decided that was a bad idea. So I am here to ask you guys for suggestions for Christmas music collections. I am a fan of Manhym Steamroller, Nate King Cole, Bing Crosby. What is a music collection - like timelife or something - that has a well rounded selection of music for Xmas. Open for suggestions, thanks!

I had a thread on this in 2002 and 2003. I think we collectively found almost every single Rock and Roll Christmas song ever made.

If you like Mannheim Steamroller's Xmas stuff, I'd recommend Kitaro. He did a Xmas album some years ago, however I can't recall the name of it.

edit: Album is "Peace on Earth" from 1996.

I agree... Kitaro is very good.
I personally enjoy more classical christmas music, but i still like older singers and their own classics.
Baby It's Cold outside is a favorite song.
God Rest Ye Merry Gentleman - By Barenaked Ladies and Sarah McGlaughlin (sp?)
Three Ships - Sting
I also know my hubby got some great regge versions of songs on itunes too.
Oh... I am excited now too! i need to start building my collection too. :)

Trans-Siberian Orchestra? Probably too intense based on your other albums but they are awesome.

We have an Irish Christmas Music CD that is very good. Nothing better than putting a pan of cinnamon and cloves with some water and play that CD. Ahhh...
