I couldn't stand 37" with only a 1920x1080 resolution. It would drive me crazy. Apple 30" display with 2560x1600 would be much better. oh well, i hope you enjoy it.

If 1366x768 looks fantastic on a 32" how can 1920x1080 not look fantastic on a 37" 😕

1920x1080 looks absolutely horrible on my 26" CRT. I can see every single pixel from 5 feet away. Of course, my vision is way above 20/20.

EDIT: 20/16 to be presice.
 
Man, that's excessive.....absurd.....I'm torn between envy, and complete dislike of it. Sure, its nice, but I prefer sitting at my desk to play my games. I am quite satisfied with my 17" Sony LCD @ 12ms...I max out at 1280x1204, but I don't care. Looks awesome, while not dropping too much cash.
 
really freaking cool... I wish I could afford that lol. I'm in need of a new monitor as mine's SOO close to just crapping out. Hopefully it'll last til january 😀

How's the ghosting on that 37 incher?

That makes me want to get a wide screen even more. Hopefully dell will put out a good deal on a 2005FW so I can afford it, lol 😛

The only game I play anymore is UT2004 and a bit of civ 4. I'm gonna fire up farcry though and give it a look. The 9800XT handles UT2004 at 1920x1080 high detail pretty well actually. I'm gonna have to upgrade soon anyway though, too bad those connect3d gto's aren't unlocking anymore...

EDIT: the couch is 4 feet from the tv, so my head is probably 5 to 5.5 feet away and text looks about is big as it did on the 19inch which I usually viewed from 2 to 3 feet.

Dude, how old are you? Do you live with your parents? That looks like an attic.
 
I think the money would have been better spent remodeling that God aweful room it is in! Yikes! :disgust:

Are you living in an attic? Wouldn't the money on the TV be better spent on a downpayment for a house?
 
Why are people complaining about the one thing that will garner the least amount of attention in that room? (I see a severe lack of pictures of "their setups" 😉 ) That's a nice looking monitor. :thumbsup:
