Oh I'm sure him doing review for ArsTechnica has everything to do with him getting a copy. After doing the Fallout 3 review for Ars, I'm pretty sure he's on a lot of game company's list. He just didn't think he would get it so early.

I was always stoked for this game, but for awhile was slightly unsure whether my own hype would be met. After the beta, I doubt my hype is even able to match the true quality of the game.

any play? can you say as much that my hype is warranted with single player?

...that and utter shock really. I'm just a dude with a lame podcast that's had some luck freelancing--I'm still a gamer at heart and this stuff is still amazing to me. K2 arriving on my doorstep 3 months before it hits the streets is a big deal and I wanted to share.
