Agreed but what do you mean filed suit against the Christians

File a lawsuit based on the signs and the pigs head on a pole carried by the Christians; done specifically with the intent to provoke and incite to violence or riot. Rubin Israel and his radical followers need to admit that they did not go to the festival to "peacefully" protest.

What would they sue them for? Being offended?

Your prejudice against Christians must stop now

True Christians dialogue and try to peacefully bring others to salvation through reason and the preaching of the gospel, as Paul did with the Greeks, who were polytheistic. You don't gain anything by antagonizing others. Rational discussion and debate, yes, not willful desecration of the beliefs of others.

And as a Christian, I bear no ill will to any enemy of Christianity, though in this case it looks like the Muslims were provoked and weren't actively persecuting Christians, anyway.

It is though, you cant handle that

Nope, I think that goes to the Falun Gong spiritual movement in China.
Those poor people are truly persecuted.

You, you're just one of the growing number of "persecuted" Christians who can't handle the fact that people generally don't like you if you behave like a bunch of assholes.

Or maybe the Baháis.

However, there is a sheitload of persecution of Christians in the ME nations, i wouldn't be surprised that if per sheer numbers in the world the Christians ARE the most persecuted.

lol, the whole Muslim world has been hating the Jews for everything to the kitchen sink since time immemorial and the rest of the world dismisses it with apathy but the moment people rightfully point out all the horrible things they done they collectively act like the most wronged people on the planet.

That is certainly true but i'd say that us Jews have been and are hated by those who hate us whether we are religious or not so i didn't include us in most persecuted group because of religion.

If i were to include groups hated because of ethnicity i'd go with Jews or Gypsies.

They are persecuted by the chinese government but so are Christians especially in the middle east

So your basically saying muslims cant tolerate any criticism and will riot. This is freedom of speech

No, what I'm saying is that if charges had been filed against the Christians for displaying signs, etc. whose only intent was to incite to violence or riot; a lawyer could make a successful case against the Christians based on the 1st Amendment, one that perhaps would survive a review by the USSC. Separate charges against the Muslims who attacked them could of course be filed by Ruben and his Street Thugs for Hate group.

Why do you support this Christian group's right to provoke or incite people to violence or riot? It goes directly against the 1st Amendment.

Thats not true at all, They are the most persecuted religion in the world

That's how they wish to be perceived. Their savior was persecuted, they're persecuted. It's the ultimate ego trip.

They weren't provoking hate though, they had opinions and views different to you. What your saying is that they were trying to incite a riot so that you can claim there wrong.

If you took a step back and looked at the situation honestly you would see true nature of the event: Arab peoples, a majority of which are Muslim, in Dearborn were having a festival. Israel and his group showed up, not to have meaningful discussions with Muslims or to show their support of or join in the festival; they showed up with signs depicting vile and hateful comments concerning the Muslim religion in general and the prophet Muhammed specifically, along with a pig's head on a pole (pork products are forbidden to Muslims).

Would you support me if I showed up at a Christian festival with a crucifix that I would then display as I poured urine and feces over it? Freedom of speech, baby!
