Christian Rock Bands - Suggestions, ideas, who you like?

I like Jeremy Camp and Third Day. I also have some Demon Hunter, Living Sacrifice, Pillar, and Project 86. I'm looking for some cool rock/alternative stuff, not necessarily the POD rock/rap type thing though, I like guitar riffs and good vocal harmonies.

I'm thinking of getting:
1 Skillet Collide (Lava Version)
2 Switchfoot The Beautiful Letdown (Columbia Version)
3 Kutless Kutless
4 Various Artists X2005 - Christian Rock Hits
5 Seventh Day Slumber Once Upon A Shattered Life

Is Sixpence None the Richer considered a Christian band? I really like them and that's the only one that was considered a Christian band.

The only one on your list that I've heard of is Switchfoot, but I can say that they're awesome.

I listen to these quite a bit:

1) Casting Crowns
2) FFH
3) 4Him (probably considered old school now, but still good)

I think they are, yes.

Only Christian alternative band I would recommend is a local one (local to sacto) named Paradigm.

The lead singer has the most awesome voice ever. I used to fall in love with her every sunday (she used to sing at my church.)

definitely reccomend checking it out

Something less alternative and more 'classic rock'.... Geoff Moore and the Distance. Their music ranges from what was considered Hard Rock 10 years ago to a few soft rock songs.

The first Jars of Clay CD is pretty good, too.

Zao is the only christian band I've been remotely interested in

Zao is alright

I like Tourniquet, Bride, Deliverance, an occasional dose of Stryper, Applehead, and bloodgood

Tourniquet is actually one of the best thrash metal bands ever in my opinion, Ted Kirkpatrick is an amazing drummer and Luke Easter has his own very unique sound.

Skillet, 3rd Day, O.C. Supertones.
Newsboys for pop, Sixpence None the Richer for mellow. I also like DC Talk and Audio Adrenaline

Anyone heard of Thousand Foot Krutch

Also, which Switchfoot album to get?

Yes, I hear that TFK is teh win. Switchfoot's 'Beautiful Letdown' was their big breakout album.

Also, if you like really(really) have rock, check out Norma Jean.
