One day Satan and Jesus were having a conversation. Satan had just come from the Garden of Eden, and he was gloating and boasting. "Yes, sir, I just caught the world full of people down there. Set me a trap, used bait I knew they couldn't resist. Got 'em all!"

"What are you going to do with them?" Jesus asked.

Satan replied, "Oh, I'm gonna have fun! I'm gonna teach them how to marry and divorce each other, how to hate and abuse each other, how to drink and smoke and curse. I'm gonna teach them how to invent guns and bombs and kill each other. I'm really gonna have fun!"

"And what will you do when you get done with them?" Jesus asked.

"Oh, I'll kill 'em," Satan glared proudly.

"How much do you want for them?" Jesus asked.

"Oh, you don't want those people. They ain't no good. Why, you'll take them and they'll just hate you. They'll spit on you, curse you and kill you! You don't want those people!"

"How much?" He asked again.

Satan looked at Jesus and sneered, "All your tears, and all your blood."

Jesus said, "DONE!" Then He paid the price.

Isn't it funny how simple it is for people to trash GOD and then wonder why the world's going to HELL.

Isn't it funny how we believe what the newspapers say, but question what the Bible says.

Isn't it funny how everyone wants to go to heaven provided they do not have to believe, think, say, or do anything the Bible says. Or is it scary?

Isn't it funny how someone can say "I believe in GOD" but still follow Satan (who, by the way, also "believes" in GOD).

Isn't it funny how you can send a thousand jokes through
Email and they spread like wildfire, but when you start sending messages regarding the Lord, people think twice about sharing.

Isn't it funny how the lewd, crude, vulgar and obscene pass freely through cyberspace, but the public discussion of Jesus is suppressed in the school and workplace.
Isn't it funny how someone can be so fired up for Christ on Sunday, but be an invisible Christian the rest of the week.

Are you laughing?
Isn't it funny how when you go to forward this message, you will not send it to many on your address list because you're not sure what they believe, or what they will think of you for sending it to them.

Isn't it funny how I can be more worried about what other people think of me than what GOD thinks of me.

Will YOU pass this on?

I read this, i think that the 'call to God' as a requirement to send this is shameful, but i liked the story and the general idea of not hiding the light of God under a rock.

You already have one thread discussing your religious awakening, there is no need to create another!

Uhh dude, let me tell you something, if this is some kind of a gimmick, then get ready to become very very unpopular. I know this from first hand experience.

I'm posting in this thread that I don't want to read (and haven't) for the sole purpose of announcing my wish that LordMagnusKain would go back to whatever hole he's been in for the last couple of months. I hate religious spam, and here we've had a couple of threads of it from him recently.

YES! I was TOTOALLY right about you! You were like "oh I found God but it's not making me narrow minded or anyting like that. I'm so not a bigot!" Bull shiat! I win.

On that note, you suck.

PS. TommyVercetti, thank you SO SO much for ending your gimmick responces. They lost their charm and started arguments from idiots who couldn't tell the difference.

not at all, i just thought it particularly interesting the way there is such emotion evoked to spread this.. I've said already i think the 'marketing' at the end is disgracefully, i wanted to get other high-intellect Christians to give me what they think of it overall.

nothing is intended, nor does it, insult anyones religion, it does not decry others religions: the intent is to find out what other people like myself *of whom there are many here* think about this sort of spam *of which we get much*;

non-Christian even anti-Christian responses that show an intelligence beyond 9th grade are more than welcome parts of the sort of discussion you'd like to hear in a coffee-shop atmosphere like this board.

It's not a debate, i won't point-counter-point anyone, i just want to know if this sort of thing does harm or good for those who've read it, and why.

I'll post what i think is interesting and friendly discussion matter unless I'm told otherwise by the owner/management of this establishment, or i find that people have nothing interesting or friendly to reply with.

Then you'd may as well stop posting now, flamebait.

I'll answer your question:

These statements do more harm then good. They appeal to the lowest common denominator. Although many on these forums are total douches or numb in the nutsack reigon, they are usually above common sense and will put down such generic and emotionly-driven statements.

As one who has "parted" with the church, I will still say that from my past experinces with the church, you are a really crappy presenter. There is so much doubt, in well, everything, that you cannot expect people to believe, well, the babble, that you right. You need a modicum of proof to be heard, and a wealth of it to be believed.

If there is a God, I would imagine he would be furious with you right now for inadvertantly angering so many people over his name. Talk about god in a way that will inspire thoughtful converstaion. What you are doing is a disgrace.

Is this the kind of discussions you have with other Christians?

Yeah, but you sucked even before your gimmick.
