Here we go again.

Frank Luter, the president of the Southern Baptist Convention, implied that North Korea’s continued threats against the United States might just have something to do with gay marriage. During an interview on ”TruNews,” host Rick Wiles brought up his theory that there might be a connection between the two, considering the Supreme Court is hearing arguments about DOMA and Prop 8 at the exact same time that Kim Jong Un is making threats. “Could our slide in immorality be what is unleashing this madman over here in Asia to punish us?” Wiles asked.

You know, I guess "god" could be against gay marriage but of all the "sins" committed on earth THAT is what we're going to get punished for?

2. If so, do they hate a particular group of people to the extent that they'll blame those people for anything they deem necessary?

I don't think he is a special nut case though, he is the president of the Southern Baptist Convention
This stuff is a part of their overall message, they are not shy about it..no need to try to cover for them
If you fear the gay, join the crusade

Funny how you've submitted republicans as the political opposite of liberals, instead of conservatives. You did see that mention of christian conservatives in the title right?

I'm trying to think of when I've heard any liberals of note (or in quantity) place blame on individuals themselves, a la what religious conservatives do with LGBT people, instead of ridiculing or blaming religious and/or conservative positions. Are there any liberal analogs to the masses of religious conservatives who denounce people who don't think like they do as corroding the fabric of the nation? I'd love to see some apples to apples comparisons.

yeah.i don't get it. he hates gays but is ok with his priest mollesting and raping little boys? then hiding it for decades?

Only when a gigantic, swollen black hole finally deep throats the entire solar system will the religious fundies finally get it right for once that the gays must be somehow involved.

I would link to a recent article stating there are possibly 1000s of black holes circling all around the Milky Way Galaxy, but I'm too busy answering a poll about creationist molecules coming out of my faucets and dj's being fired for talking about it atm...
