At ecampus here. It's 12.99 at amazon and 9.99 at DDD.

Evidently also 7.99 free shipping at best buy which makes it a better deal.

Chris Rock is awesome and this is a great price. This DVD is not as good as Bring the Pain, but it is still real funny.

I think this is the funniest DVD that I have ever seen. Very rude and very funny.

I dunno...Chris Rock's voice reminds me of scratching fingernails down a chalkboard. I also hate his "White people do this...white people do that...." act. Why do so many black comedians rely on racism for their material?

Damn to ship to CT costs more than the cost of the DVD so my total is over $12, when Walmart has it for 11.88...if shipping wasn't so much it would be a decent Deal.

This is NOT a thread crap-I salute you on finding a 40% discount on a dvd.

However, you could not pay me enough to listen to this racist. The Chris Rock's of the world are doing their best to fuel hatred, and I'll have no part of it. He is making millions by propagating anger. This is just not right.

He's hilarious and gives white and black people an equally hard time.
Anyone ever see his skit about how to NOT get your a$$ kicked by the police?

Great find!
How NOT to get your a$$ kicked is one of the funniest things I have ever seen!

And with the risk of turning this thread into something it's not suppose to be, iamjn and Fritzo: if comedians often take oddities of society and present them in hyperbole, what is more odd than the discrepancy of race that defines how we interact with one another on a daily basis. In other words, it's just jokes about life as it. Kick back and relax. my two cents...

Eddie Griffin's Voodoo Child is also a scream if you can find it.

don't worry, be happy

FYI it's 7.99 free shipping at best buy so that is a better deal.

On another note, I am seeing Jerry Seinfeld live this Friday. I got the best seats possible! Whoo Hooo!

OK..if I...as a caucasian male...went on stage and started telling jokes about the problems with black people, what do you think would happen? Why do all black comedians have to base their material on the tired old race card? Bill Cosby is probably STILL one of the funniest black comedians around, and you'll never hear anything about race come out of his mouth.

Hi, Fritzo. I felt that you deserved a reply.
OK..if I...as a caucasian male...went on stage and started telling jokes about the problems with black people, what do you think would happen?
If it was funny AND TRUE then some people would be offended, but most people would laugh.
Why do ALL black comedians have to base their material on the tired old race card?
Steve Harvey, Bernie Mac and others have used race in their acts but most of their act isn't only about white people. Sure there are some that use mostly race in their routine, curse continuously (SOME of the comedians on Comic View for instance), but that gets tired fast.
Bill Cosby is probably STILL one of the funniest BLACK comedians around, and you'll never hear anything about race come out of his mouth.
Shouldn't that be one of the funniest comedians around? I think Jerry Seinfeld (lucky!! ingenue007)is one of the funniest guys around. It never occurs to me to say Jewish comedian. You may have stated it that way because of the discussion, but I hear a lot of people of both races make that type of statement. Whether or not we like it race is still a very big ceal in this world. :-(

I said "black" comedian because of the context of this post. He is one of the best comedians no matter the race :)

Imagine if the roles were reversed and there was a white comedian doing off-white jokes? Watch the sh** hit the fan.

For the bump of a great deal and-

I agree that race is one of the most sensitive issues to joke about, but that says something about it's importance.

OK..if I...as a caucasian male...went on stage and started telling jokes about the problems with black people, what do you think would happen?

caucasian males got their jokes about black people written into federal law. If any group wants to tell jokes as a way of socially coping with the deleterious effects of those laws and injustices, while many injustices still exist, then that is their right. If a black comedian chooses that common experience to communicate with his audience, so be it. I understand feelings of unease, and I agree race should be handled with care (I personally wish there was no societal race discrepancies). If you feel talking about race is unfair, then I can respect that feeling.

but just a quote from "Bigger and Blacker" on some very prevalent percieved (and rightfully so) discrepancies of race:

"...There ain't a white man in this room that would change places with me...and I'm rich!!!"

I'm curious as to which ones...

EDIT: Not trying to turn this into a flamefest, so I guess my posts will end in this thread. Otherwise nice deal!

I suppose there are a lot of people that grew up in the suburbs all their life here.
